Monocle: In the 19th and early 20th centuries, monocles were widely used by officers and in diplomatic and artistic circles. Inspired by watchmaker's loupes and the internal shapes of the gears in his CLOCK WORK timepieces, Martin Fischer has brought this historical object back to life. The Zeitfischer monocle is made of titanium — a stable and skin-friendly light metal. Clamped in front of the eye with, its low weight it makes it easy to hold. A fine, braided cord allows it to be worn around the neck, so that it is always at hand when sharp vision is required. The Zeitfischer monocle is available in diameters of ø35 and ø40 mm and in dioptres from 1.5 to 3. Price CHF 100.
